The Free Dictionary defines the word “mindset” as, “A fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses to and interpretations of situations.” In more basic terms, your mindset is the way that you view the world or a particular situation; the lens through which you see. This lens is borne of your unique life experiences and beliefs you’ve acquired through those experiences.
